At West Rowan High School Otto set a county record for total offense, amassing 504 yards in a single game and scoring 49 touchdowns over his career, 32 passing and 17 rushing. His performances earned him Rowan County Offensive Player of the Year honors and a starting role as center fielder on two conference‑championship baseball teams.
College Years at St. Andrews
Otto continued his dual‑sport career at St. Andrews, captaining the football team in 2019 and contributing to a historic win over Cincinnati Christian that marked the program’s first victory. He posted a standout game against Reinhardt with 272 passing yards and three touchdowns, and also played baseball in his final year before the college closed its doors.
