Virginia Tech’s women’s basketball program has received a major boost with the verbal commitment of four-star guard Dani Robinson to the 2027 class.
Robinson, a 5-foot-10 guard from Rancho Cucamonga, California, will join the Hokies after a standout prep career at Ontario Christian High School, a program known for producing elite talent.
Her commitment comes on the heels of Jessica Dimaro’s pledge for the 2026 cycle, giving the staff of Coach Megan Duffy two high-profile recruits in consecutive years.
Ranked No. 36 overall by ESPN, Robinson is the second top-60 prospect the Hokies have secured for the 2027 cohort, joining Lillie Graves, a fellow four-star recruit from Lafayette, Indiana.
During her senior season, Robinson helped Ontario Christian capture a state championship, averaging 16 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.9 steals per game.
The Hokies finished the previous season at 23-10, advancing to the NCAA Tournament in Coach Duffy’s second year at the helm, underscoring the program’s upward trajectory.
Recruiting Momentum
The back-to-back commitments signal a recruiting pipeline that could reshape the Hokies’ competitiveness in the ACC and beyond, positioning the program as a rising force in women’s college basketball.
