Arizona has taken another step toward bolstering its secondary for the 2026 class, announcing the addition of JUCO defensive back Harold Lusk II to its roster.
Lusk becomes the 13th defensive back the Wildcats have secured this offseason, underscoring the program’s aggressive recruiting push.
From the Board to the Field
At Monterey Peninsula College in California, Lusk began his collegiate career as a quarterback before switching to defense.
In eight games as a freshman, he recorded 38 tackles and intercepted seven passes, numbers that caught the eye of Arizona’s coaching staff.
The recruitment process culminated in June when the University of Arizona extended an offer, and Lusk ultimately decided on the Wildcats over Colorado.
He is set to report to Tucson this month, bringing a blend of size and experience — standing 6‑foot‑3 and weighing 200 pounds — to a defense that is already among the nation’s most active in adding talent.
Coaches expect his physical presence and ball‑hawking instincts to contribute immediately, especially as the team looks to maintain its momentum in the secondary.
