New Faces on the Court
The University of Southern Indiana's men's basketball program has announced the addition of four transfers who are expected to bolster the squad for the upcoming season.
Ebrahim Kaba, a 6‑9 sophomore, arrives from Purdue Fort Wayne, bringing a strong interior presence after a standout stint with the Mastodons.
Lance Hayes, a 6‑6 senior, comes from Texas El‑Paso, where he helped the Miners compete in the NCAA tournament last year, adding perimeter shooting and defensive versatility.
Johann Pautsch, a 6‑10 junior, transfers from Three Rivers Junior College, where he honed his post play and rebounding skills, offering the team another option in the paint.
Donovan Hunter, a 6‑8 senior, joins from Bellarmine, having contributed significantly during his recent season with the Knights, and is expected to provide depth and experience on the wing.
Coach Greg Lins said the new roster blends size, skill and experience, positioning the team to compete strongly within the conference and beyond.
The moves come as the program looks to build on recent successes and attract more talent to the Evansville campus.
