Baron Hopson, Marcus Patterson and Alexander Ford each played key roles in 2025, combining for 163 tackles, 138 of which came from Hopson alone, while Patterson added six tackles for loss and two sacks, and Ford contributed 25 stops and an interception.
The offseason has been a blend of physical preparation and camaraderie. Workouts at the university’s facilities are complemented by team‑building outings that range from fishing trips to paintball matches, fostering a chemistry that coaches say is essential as the squad welcomes 51 newcomers alongside 47 returning players.
