Western Michigan Broncos Unveil 2026 Men’s Soccer Schedule

Season opener set for August, featuring top‑ranked opponents and a home SoccerFest celebration

Western Michigan University has released its 2026 men’s soccer schedule, a 18‑match slate that blends non‑conference road trips with a heavy home load. Nine of the games will be played at the Broncos’ home venue, and four of the opponents appear in the final United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll.

Key Dates and Matchups

The season opens with three exhibition matches in early August, after which the team hits the road for its first two regular‑season contests at Kentucky and Dayton. A marquee home game against Wisconsin is slated for August 27, followed by an East Coast swing that takes the Broncos to UConn and Bryant later in the month.

Labor Day will bring a festive atmosphere as Western Michigan hosts Butler in its annual SoccerFest celebration. Early September also features home matches against Seattle and Cornell, while the first conference battle arrives on September 25 at Bowling Green.

October brings the longest homestand of the year, with four games packed into an 11‑day window. The Broncos will entertain UIC, St. Thomas, Evansville and Holy Cross College during that stretch.

The schedule then shifts to a grueling road stretch that includes trips to Drake, DePaul and Belmont before the regular season wraps up with a home match against Bradley on November 4. The Missouri Valley Conference Tournament begins on November 8, and the Broncos will look to defend the title they captured in the 2025 championship game on November 14.

Fans can purchase tickets for the entire 2026 season starting July 14, marking the official launch of ticket sales for what promises to be another competitive campaign.
