eVero Corporation has been named the Official Event Sponsor of the U.S. National Intellectual Impairment (Hockey ii) Team for the 2026 FIH Para Hockey World Cup, a tournament that will take place from August 21 to 25, 2026, across venues in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The partnership brings together a Colorado‑based software firm best known for its work in the Home and Community‑Based Services sector with a pioneering hockey program that supports athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
eVero’s platform, which optimizes workflows, enhances transparency and streamlines services such as electronic visit verification and Medicaid billing, has been empowering caregivers and individuals with I/DD for nearly 25 years.
A historic debut on the world stage
The U.S. National Hockey ii Team will make its first international tournament appearance at the Para Hockey World Cup, fielding a co‑ed roster of ten adult athletes supported by a five‑member coaching and management staff.
Competition matches are scheduled at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen and the Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre, while the opening ceremony will be held in Louvain‑La‑Neuve.
Leadership voices
Christos Morris, chief executive of eVero, expressed pride in supporting the team, noting that one of his own employees, Scott Weisbrot, will represent the United States on the ice.
Simon Hoskins, chief executive of USA Field Hockey, thanked eVero for its commitment, emphasizing the shared dedication to inclusion and the expansion of opportunities for athletes with disabilities.
The eVero logo will appear on the front of the U.S. team’s uniforms, a visible reminder of the company’s investment in a more inclusive sporting landscape.
Beyond this sponsorship, eVero’s long‑standing focus on reporting, electronic health records and self‑direction services reflects its broader mission to improve outcomes for caregivers and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
