Rockford IceHogs unveil 2026‑27 schedule
The Rockford IceHogs have released their full regular‑season calendar, a 72‑game slate that begins on October 3 with a road matchup against the Milwaukee Admirals and wraps up on April 10 at home versus the Chicago Wolves.
Across the course of the season the team will face 11 different opponents, including 12 contests against their longtime rivals, the Chicago Wolves, who finished atop the Central Division last year.
Home weekends and matinee highlights
Fans can mark 28 weekend dates at the BMO Harris Bank Center, where the IceHogs will host seven Sunday matinee games that promise a family‑friendly atmosphere.
The schedule also features four early‑morning road games, giving the club a chance to test its resilience on the road before the traditional evening crowds.
In addition, the IceHogs will meet five new opponents this season and will play on or near several holiday dates, offering extra viewing opportunities for supporters across the Midwest.
The American Hockey League, the IceHogs’ parent league, will oversee the full schedule, which aligns with the league’s broader push to expand its footprint in emerging hockey markets.
