The Middlebury College men's ice hockey program celebrated a noteworthy academic accomplishment as fourteen of its student‑athletes were selected for the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA)/Krampade All‑American Scholar team.
Their selection places the Panthers among a national pool of 550 Division II and III athletes who earned the honor for sustaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or higher throughout the fall and spring semesters.
To qualify, each player must have met the academic threshold and demonstrated sufficient on‑ice participation, appearing in at least 40 percent of the team's contests, a requirement that underscores the program's commitment to integrating scholarship with competition.

Since the 2019‑20 campaign, Middlebury has recognized 97 players with this scholarly accolade, reflecting a sustained culture of academic excellence that runs deep within the program's tradition.
The achievement not only highlights the individual dedication of these student‑athletes but also reinforces the college's broader mission of developing well‑rounded leaders who succeed both on the ice and in the classroom.
