Yahoo Sports Rolls Out 2026 College Fantasy Football Mode with Top 300 Player Rankings

Oregon Ducks’ emerging talents headline the early rankings, while quarterback Dante Moore’s placement raises eyebrows

Yahoo Sports announced this week that it will debut a dedicated college fantasy football experience for the 2026 season, complete with a full‑season player ranking released ahead of the draft.

The rankings, which cover the top 300 collegiate players, are being closely followed by enthusiasts and analysts alike, especially for the way they spotlight rising stars from power conferences.

Oregon’s Early‑Season Impact

Among the highest‑rated Ducks is running back Dierre Hill Jr., who checks in at No. 34 overall. Hill burst onto the scene as a true freshman in 2025, posting 75 carries for 656 yards and five touchdowns while also catching 16 passes for 137 yards and a score.

Close behind at No. 35 is fellow running back Jordon Davison, whose freshman campaign featured 113 rushes for 667 yards and 15 touchdowns, complemented by 12 receptions for 62 yards.

Wide receiver Dakorien Moore, a five‑star recruit, is positioned at No. 44. Moore’s debut season saw him tally 34 catches for 497 yards and three touchdowns, and he also contributed four carries for 49 yards and a rushing score.

Quarterback Dante Moore, despite being regarded as one of the nation’s elite signal callers, is placed at No. 121 in the composite list, a spot that reflects the deep pool of productive quarterbacks in the fantasy format.

The scoring architecture of the new mode requires a single quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, a tight end, two flex spots, a defense/special teams unit and a team offense, shaping how owners will build their lineups.
