Participants will be able to select whole teams rather than individual athletes, creating a roster of 18 players that can include stars across the conferences.
Scoring will reward touchdowns, total yards, field goals and victories, while penalties will be applied for turnovers and losses, adding a strategic layer to each matchup.
The draft itself will open on August 3, exactly one month before the college football season is scheduled to begin on September 3, allowing enthusiasts to prepare their squads ahead of kickoff.
With points deducted for mistakes and added for big plays, the format aims to blend the excitement of traditional fantasy leagues with the unique dynamics of college football.
