The high school baseball postseason in Central Kentucky's 11th Region has begun, with two teams from each district advancing to the next round. Henry Clay entered the regular season series with Scott County as the clear favorite, sweeping the Cardinals in their two meetings. Their upcoming semifinal against Lafayette will test whether their momentum can carry them forward, while Sayre Spartans, ranked No. 7, continue to showcase their potency with signature wins over Madison Central.
Scott County’s Cardinals, now ranked No. 25, have built confidence from two victories over Sayre in the district, setting up a potential rematch that could reshape the regional hierarchy.
