Four former Iowa Hawkeyes are currently making waves in the NBA Summer League, each earning minutes with different franchises as they look to cement future roles.
Performances on the Court
Brendan Hausen, representing the Memphis Grizzlies, erupted for 21 points in a loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, showcasing his scoring potential. Meanwhile, Payton Sandfort, also with the Oklahoma City Thunder, struggled in his latest outing, logging zero points in 19 minutes, though he had previously contributed 13 points on July 4 and 25 points on July 6.
Josh Dix turned in his best performance of the summer, scoring 16 points for the Thunder, while Bennett Stirtz added 10 and 9 points in the first two games and is shooting 35 percent from the field with a 30 percent clip from three‑point range.

The Memphis Grizzlies will meet the Chicago Bulls at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, while the Oklahoma City Thunder are set to face the Los Angeles Lakers at 9 p.m. CT later that same night, giving the Hawkeyes another chance to impress.
