This weekend NASCAR’s premier Cup Series returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway, one of the sport’s oldest and most iconic ovals, for a double‑header that also features support series action at a historic road course in Connecticut.
Lime Rock Park’s Historic Role
The ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Truck Series are slated to compete at Lime Rock Park, a 2.5‑mile circuit that has been a staple of East Coast racing since the 1950s. Fans can catch the ARCA race on FS2 at 4 p.m. on Friday, while Truck Series practice will be streamed on FS1 at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Qualifying for the Truck Series at Lime Rock is set for Saturday morning on FS1, and the series’ feature race will follow at 1 p.m. on the same network. Meanwhile, the Cup Series’ weekend at Atlanta includes a qualifying session on TruTV at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, with the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 scheduled for 7 p.m. on the CW later that evening.
The climax of the weekend arrives on Sunday, when the Cup Series’ main event will be broadcast on TNT at 6 p.m., rounding out a full slate of on‑track action that is also available through live streaming on Sling.
