A Showcase of Wisconsin's Rising Stars
On Friday, August 7, the Verona Athletic Center will host the TYBC Girls Class of 2030 All American Showcase, gathering some of the state's most promising incoming freshmen for a day of competition and camaraderie.
Four All‑American squads — North, South, East and West — will represent communities from every corner of Wisconsin, each roster a blend of hometown heroes and future collegiate standouts. The South team features Madison Morris, Laila Rose, Kanessa Keefer and Kenley Staska, while the North roster includes Nyagol Riak, Arianna Eddins, Cora Lachance and Molly Murphy. The East side is led by Stella Yarco and also showcases Alyse Winzer, Tiana Hill, Chesne Fink and Zariah Le’Flore, and the West squad highlights Rylea Kratky along with Amerie Crews, Kadence Porter, Ella Nolan and Payten Luna.
Founder Melvin Gates created the event to give the nation a glimpse of Wisconsin's basketball pipeline, hoping the showcase will become an annual tradition that leaves a lasting impression on the players and cements the state's reputation as a talent incubator.
In addition to team play, the showcase will feature a 3‑point competition that already has Cora Lachance, Quynn Knaust, Chesne Fink, Arianna Eddins and Zariah Le’Flore registered to compete, adding another layer of excitement for fans and scouts alike.
As these young athletes prepare to spend the next four years battling each other in gyms across Wisconsin before moving on to college, Gates envisions the event growing into a cornerstone of the region's basketball culture, offering a unique platform for the next generation of stars.
