Tyler Minick, a two‑time Berks player of the year, is heading to College Station after completing three seasons at the University of Connecticut.
The versatile infielder, who also sees time as an outfielder and designated hitter, brings a blend of speed, power and defensive flexibility that attracted the attention of the Texas A&M coaching staff.
A Record of Production
During his sophomore campaign he batted .355 and smashed 22 home runs while driving in 74 runs over 54 games, a performance that helped him earn player‑of‑the‑year honors from the BCIAA in both 2022 and 2023.
In his most recent season he posted a .283 average across 29 appearances, adding five homers and 21 RBIs, numbers that underscore his consistent offensive contribution.
Texas A&M, a program that finished the previous year with a 41‑16 record and a run to the NCAA tournament, competes in the Southeastern Conference, one of the nation’s most competitive leagues.
The Aggies opened the tournament with two victories before their elimination, a run that has set high expectations for the upcoming season.
