Merrimack College’s Warriors have ridden a wave of triumph in recent months, capping a memorable season with a Hockey East championship and a run to the Frozen Four. The success has sparked excitement across campus and among fans, setting high expectations for the next campaign.
A Fresh Wave of Talent
The momentum has translated into a recruiting class that many analysts view as one of the most promising in the program’s recent history, bringing a blend of skill, experience and international flair. The newcomers are expected to deepen the roster and add fresh energy as the team aims to defend its recent titles.
Among the standout additions is forward Scott Boreck, a veteran of the program’s recent successes who returns with a reputation for leadership and two‑way play. The squad also welcomes a Latvian‑born goaltender, Feldbergs, who will be the only freshman net‑minder on the roster.
The class includes players with diverse backgrounds, such as Bryzgalov, a WHL standout drafted by the Vancouver Canucks, and Dabrowski, who contributed 26 points this season. Dale, whose point production surged in his final junior year, and Easton, who led his WHL team with 53 points, round out the group.
Family ties add an extra narrative thread: Daneault joins the Warriors as the brother of 2026 first‑overall WHL pick Madden Daneault, bringing a unique personal connection to the team dynamic.
Other prospects, including Espenell, who posted 17 points in Alberni, and the Latvian‑born Feldbergs, round out a roster that blends domestic talent with international experience. Coaches believe this mix will provide depth and competitiveness as the Warriors look to build on their recent achievements.
