Cam Pickett’s Commitment to the 2026 Season
Cam Pickett, a redshirt senior wide receiver for Kansas football, announced that he will remain with the program through the 2026 campaign despite a challenging 2025 season.
He cited a sense of unfinished business in Lawrence and the memory of several close contests that left the team hungry for improvement.
Teammates Who Could Shape the Offense
Pickett highlighted junior running back Dylan Edwards, a transfer from Kansas State known for his speed and elusiveness, and sophomore wide receiver Tate Nagy, whom he expects to assume a larger role in the offense.
He also mentioned the depth at the receiver position, noting that the group’s chemistry could translate into more explosive plays.
A Global Stage in London
The Jayhawks are scheduled to play Arizona State in London on September 19, a game that will be broadcast on FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff.” Pickett expressed excitement about performing at Wembley Stadium, a venue steeped in soccer history.
The international fixture adds a new dimension to the schedule and offers the team a chance to reach a broader audience.
