Davis logged 37 appearances, starting the final 19 games and averaging 5.4 points and 2.2 rebounds while shooting 40.6% from three‑point range. His offensive rating of 146.6 topped the entire NCAA, underscoring his impact on the Illini’s offense.

The wing’s ascent was not linear. After transferring from Mercer University, Davis initially served as a reserve behind Andrej Stojakovic, who was sidelined by a knee injury.
