The evening air at Rowan County's home field crackled with anticipation as the local baseball squad took on Hamlet in a decisive showdown.
From the opening inning, the offense erupted when Cole Blevins launched a grand slam, a blast that not only put four runs on the board but also marked his fourth homer of the season.
Supporting the bat, pitchers Brant Graham and Dylan Alexander delivered a combined effort that kept Hamlet at bay, with Graham exiting the sixth inning holding a 6‑3 lead before Alexander sealed the deal with a strikeout of Caden Nolan.
