FC Barcelona has secured the services of American point guard Justin Robinson, agreeing to a deal that will keep him at the club through 30 June 2028.
The 28‑year‑old arrives after an impressive EuroLeague campaign with Paris Basketball, where his playmaking, vision and leadership helped the side reach the finals.
Robinson’s professional résumé reads like a world tour. After a stint in the NBA, he honed his craft in Australia’s NBL with the Illawarra Hawks, then moved to Italy’s Liga Endesa with Trapani Shark, where he was named November’s league MVP.
A native of Manassas, Virginia, born on 12 October 1997, he has also tasted success in France, averaging 13 points and 4.1 assists for Paris Basketball while the club finished as runners‑up in the domestic league.
A Winner On and Off the Court
Robinson describes himself as a winner and a leader, emphasizing that he wants to bring that mentality to Barcelona’s locker room and to the fans who cherish a fighting spirit.
The club’s sporting director welcomed the signing, noting that Robinson’s experience and clutch performances, such as his 35‑point game against Olympiacos and a 25‑point effort in Round 37, make him a valuable addition as Barça aims to rebuild its backcourt for the upcoming season.
