Lehigh University announced that three of its football standouts have earned spots on the 2026 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Teams, a testament to the program’s rising profile and the continued excellence of its student-athletes.
Senior running back Luke Yoder, the 2025 Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, earned first-team honors after posting a career-high 1,409 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns last season. His most memorable performance came in the Rivalry 161 win over Lafayette, where he amassed 234 yards and four touchdowns.
Fifth-year offensive lineman Aidan Palmer, a first-team All-Patriot League selection, started every game at left guard and helped pave the way for the nation’s fifth-ranked rushing offense, showcasing the line’s dominance in key matchups.
Safety Nick Peltekian, a two-time All-Patriot League honoree, contributed 28 tackles and 1.5 sacks in the previous campaign and added a pivotal interception in the Lafayette victory. Over his career he has compiled 193 tackles and five interceptions, cementing his status as a defensive anchor.
Mountain Hawks gear up for a new chapter
Pre-season camp for the Mountain Hawks kicks off at the end of the month, setting the stage for a season that opens on Saturday, August 29 at Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. The home debut follows on September 12 when Patriot League newcomer William & Mary visits Goodman Stadium in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
The trio of honorees represents three of the eight Patriot League student-athletes recognized by Stats Perform, underscoring the conference’s growing depth and Lehigh’s role as a consistent producer of top talent.
