The Temple University women's basketball program has once again been recognized for its commitment to academic excellence.
The team earned an honorable mention in the WBCA Academic Top 25 for the second straight season, posting a collective GPA of 3.49 during the 2025‑26 campaign.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 celebrates college programs that combine high‑level competition with strong classroom performance, requiring a minimum 3.0 GPA and nomination by a head coach who is a member of the association.
The head coach submitted the Owls for consideration, and the selection committee acknowledged the squad's consistent scholarly standards.
This marks the 31st edition of the WBCA's academic honor roll, underscoring the growing emphasis on student‑athlete development across the sport.
Among the top performers, Green Bay led the rankings with a 3.965 GPA, followed by North Dakota State at 3.926 and UAlbany at 3.826, setting a high bar for the rest of the league.
Temple's 3.49 GPA places the Owls solidly within the upper tier of academic achievers, reflecting the program's balanced focus on athletics and scholarship.
