The regular season of American Legion baseball across Wyoming is drawing to a close, marking the end of a competitive stretch that has seen teams battle through sixteen weeks of play.
In the North conference, the Sheridan Troopers have emerged as champions, while the South conference title was claimed by the Cheyenne Sixers.
With the final standings now recorded, focus shifts to the upcoming state tournaments, which will bring together the top squads from each conference in both Division I and Division II.
Division I Tournament Field
The Division I tournament will showcase a blend of Northern and Southern teams, featuring the Sheridan Troopers, Gillette Riders, Powell Pioneers, and Sheridan Jets from the North, as well as the Cheyenne Sixers, Casper Oilers, Laramie Rangers, and Cheyenne Hawks from the South.
Division II Tournament Field
Division II competition will highlight Northern contenders such as the Jackson Giants, Cody Cubs, Lovell Mustangs, and Riverton Raiders, alongside Southern teams including the Torrington Tigers, Wheatland Lobos, Cheyenne Eagles, and Green River Knights.
Week 16 results have solidified the brackets, ensuring that each qualified program now knows its path toward the state titles.
