This marks the fifth straight year the Rockets have earned the honor, underscoring a sustained commitment to scholarship that mirrors their competitive success on the diamond. Under head coach Rob Reinstetle, the team has maintained a collective GPA of at least 3.2 every season, reflecting a culture that values both athletics and academics.
The award requires a full‑year GPA of 3.0 or higher, and Toledo’s fall semester set a program record with a 3.56 average, while the spring term posted a near‑identical 3.55, illustrating the consistency of their academic standards.
The academic accolades extend beyond the team, with three student‑athletes earning spots on the CSC Academic All‑District squad and five being named to the Academic All‑MAC list, highlighting the breadth of scholarly talent within the roster.
Historic Recognition for Sudbrook
Senior Troy Sudbrook made history as the first Rocket since 2013 to be selected to the CSC First Team Academic All‑American, and he is also the first player in program history to receive that particular honor.
