Glacier Park College Soccer Showcase Returns Aug. 6-8 at Columbia Falls High School

The third annual Glacier Park College Soccer Showcase is set to light up the fields of Columbia Falls High School from August 6 through 8, bringing together some of the Northwest’s most competitive Division I women’s programs.

Fans will see the University of Montana Lady Griz, Gonzaga’s Bulldogs, and the Mount Royal Cougars face off in a tightly scheduled slate that highlights the region’s growing talent.

O’Brien Byrd, president of the showcase, says the gathering is more than a series of matches; it’s a chance to inspire the next generation of players across Montana.

In addition to the high‑profile games, the event hosts a free youth clinic open to boys and girls aged five to 18, giving youngsters a chance to train under collegiate coaches.

Match day tickets, clinic registration, volunteer sign‑ups and opportunities for local youth to take on on‑field roles are all accessible through the showcase’s website, gpcss.org.

Community members can earn free admission by volunteering, and the organizers estimate the tournament will draw roughly a thousand spectators, echoing the strong turnout from the past two years.

The showcase is bolstered by the support of Discover Kalispell, a local tourism partner, and benefits from the facilities and staff of Columbia Falls High School, which has become a natural hub for the event.
