Auburn's Season Finale
Auburn’s baseball squad wrapped up the regular season with a 36-18 overall record and a 17-13 mark in SEC play, posting the league’s biggest run differential and closing a mixed week that included three losses to Georgia but a decisive victory in the final game.
The team’s final home appearance at Plainsman Park drew 180,462 fans, the second-most attendance in program history, underscoring the growing enthusiasm for Auburn baseball.
Offensively, Chris Rembert led the charge with eight hits over four games, while Brandon McCraine reached base five times in a single contest and Bub Terrell hit three home runs, including a three-run blast against Georgia.
On the mound, Jackson Sanders delivered three scoreless innings against the Bulldogs, and LJ Cormier matched a season high with 4.2 innings of work, both highlighting a pitching staff that remained steady throughout the stretch.
The accomplishment marks the first time since the 1999-2000 season that Auburn has recorded back-to-back years with 17 SEC victories, reflecting sustained program growth and consistency.
Looking ahead, the Tigers will prepare for the SEC tournament with momentum built from a deep roster, a potent lineup, and a pitching staff that has shown durability throughout the season.
