The Harding University women’s track and field program has cemented its reputation as a model of balance between scholarship and sport, capturing a prestigious NCAA Division II All‑Academic Team award for the 2026 season.

The team posted a cumulative GPA of 3.56, positioning it among the top 40 Division II programs nationwide. That academic distinction was complemented by the recognition of 14 individual athletes who maintained a GPA of at least 3.25 while competing at the highest level.

At the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships the Bison secured a historic 17th‑place finish, marking one of the program’s best performances on the national stage.
Standout displays from Ericka Konovalenko, Ally Cheek and Yedidya Bangue highlighted the meet, showcasing the depth of talent that helped the team climb to that milestone.
