Blue Angels Schedule Division I Friendly as Part of Ambitious Preseason

A look at the roster, upcoming exhibitions and the team's outlook for the new season

A New Chapter for the Blue Angels

The Blue Angels will open their preseason on August 10 with a friendly match against Southeast Missouri State, a Division I program that offers a valuable early test for the squad.

Head coach Kaylin Culver and the rest of the coaching staff have assembled a roster of 20 players, nine of whom return from last year's 10‑6‑1 team, blending experienced veterans with a fresh influx of talent.

In addition to the game against Southeast Missouri State, the preseason schedule features exhibitions against SIU‑Carbondale and Northwest Mississippi, and a second exhibition against an alumni team slated for August 22.

The regular season will officially begin on August 26 when the Blue Angels host Region 24 opponent Parkland, and the campaign will close with a match against Heartland, the team that finished second in the NJCAA finals last year.

Workouts have already commenced as of August 1, underscoring the team's eagerness to hit the ground running and make an impact in the upcoming season.
