A Promising Pitcher
Howie Donoho, a senior at Chillicothe High School, is currently competing in the Prep Baseball Senior Future Games, a showcase event that brings together the nation’s top rising talent.
He is a third‑base prospect for the Chillicothe Hornets and also serves as a right‑handed pitcher for the MOKAN 26 squad, which is based at the LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, Georgia.
Donoho’s summer numbers are eye‑catching: in 22.2 innings he has allowed just two hits and four runs, with three earned, while striking out 33 batters and posting a .926 earned‑run average.
Despite his performance, he remains uncommitted to any college program and is still exploring his options, though he also lends his skills to the Royals Scout Team for additional exposure.
The MOKAN 26 squad is scheduled to play two games on Tuesday, July 21, and two more on Wednesday, July 22, giving Donoho and his teammates multiple chances to demonstrate their abilities in front of scouts and coaches.
Coaches and analysts have praised his poise on the mound and his versatility at the plate, noting that his combination of defensive skill and pitching talent makes him a rare prospect in the 2027 class.
