A stacked nonconference slate
Texas A&M’s athletics department unveiled the 2026‑27 nonconference schedule on Thursday, a plan that blends five Power‑4 opponents with a high‑profile stint in the Bahamas. The announcement sets the stage for a season that will test the Aggies against top‑tier competition from the outset.
Opening night at home
The season opener arrives on Nov. 3, when Alabama State visits Reed Arena in College Station, giving the crowd an early glimpse of the team’s chemistry under head coach Bucky McMillan.
Power‑4 road tests
A week later, the Aggies host Oklahoma State, a former Big 12 rival, before traveling to Houston to meet Florida State at the Toyota Center. Stanford, an ACC member, makes its way to College Station on Dec. 2, adding another Power‑4 challenge before the team heads to Fort Worth for a Nov. 19 showdown with TCU.
Battle 4 Atlantis adventure
In addition to domestic matchups, the Aggies will journey to Paradise Island for the Battle 4 Atlantis, where they will square off against two Big East opponents in a tournament that blends travel, competition and exposure on a global stage.
Home stretch in December
The nonconference portion wraps up with three consecutive home games against Holy Cross, North Florida and Prairie View A&M in December, providing a chance to fine‑tune before conference play begins.
