Noel Rash, an eight‑time state champion head coach, has returned to Beechwood High School as the head football coach for a second stint, rekindling a partnership that last ended with his departure several years ago.

Having succeeded former head coach Jay Volker in May, Rash brings a familiar voice and an energetic style that has already infused a noticeable vibe during preseason workouts, according to players and staff.
The Tigers, who boast 18 state titles with their most recent championship coming in 2024, are gearing up for the upcoming season with a roster that blends seasoned seniors and promising underclassmen.
Among the standout recruits, senior wide receiver/safety Tyler Fryman has verbally committed to the University of Kentucky for both football and baseball, while quarterback Emmett Queen has pledged to Wake Forest.
The commitments of Fryman and Queen underscore the program’s ability to attract top talent, a factor that aligns with Rash’s vision of preparing athletes for competition at the highest level and for life beyond sports.
