Nativity BVM is gearing up for a busy summer of youth sports, rolling out a series of basketball and volleyball camps designed for elementary schoolers in grades three through eight.
The Youth Boys Basketball Camp will take place from June 17 to 19 at Nativity BVM High School, with morning sessions for rising third through fifth graders running from nine a.m. to noon and afternoon sessions for sixth through eighth graders from one p.m. to four p.m.
Basketball Camp Details
Coach Brady Burke, along with his staff and players, will lead the instruction, emphasizing fundamentals, offensive and defensive concepts, and plenty of competitive drills. Participants can expect a mix of skill work, small‑sided games and prize giveaways, all aimed at fostering growth and fun.
The registration fee is sixty dollars per child, with a discounted rate of forty‑five dollars for each additional sibling. Payments are accepted by cash or check addressed to the Nativity Green and Gold Club.
Girls Basketball and Volleyball Sessions
The Girls Basketball Camp runs from June 22 to 24, offering a three‑hour slot for third through fifth graders from three p.m. to five p.m. and a two‑hour slot for sixth through eighth graders from five:30 p.m. to seven:30 p.m.
A separate Girls Volleyball Camp will be held from July 20 to 23, meeting from five p.m. to six:30 p.m. for younger participants and from six:30 p.m. to eight p.m. for older campers. The cost for the volleyball session is eighty‑five dollars, payable by check made out to Nativity, with a deadline of July 7.
Both camps include individualized instruction, team concepts and organized competitions, ensuring that each camper walks away with improved skills and a deeper love for the game.
