The Minnesota Wild announced a groundbreaking agreement that will see the team produce and distribute its own regional television broadcasts in collaboration with the National Hockey League.
Under the arrangement, every Wild game will be carried on a mix of cable providers, satellite services, a dedicated streaming platform and even free over‑the‑air stations, ensuring that fans across the market can tune in regardless of their subscription.
Who will be on the air?
Longtime Wild personalities — including Anthony LaPanta, Ryan Carter, Alex Stalock, Lou Nanne, Katie Storm, Wes Walz and Kevin Gorg — are slated to return as the on‑air talent, bringing familiar voices to the new lineup.
The partnership also brings in production support from the NHL, which is expected to elevate the visual storytelling and premium quality of the broadcasts.
The initial cohort of teams involved in the venture includes the Wild, the Carolina Hurricanes, the Columbus Blue Jackets and the St. Louis Blues, with the possibility of additional franchises joining in the future.
