A fresh chapter for Maine women’s ice hockey
The 2026‑27 campaign marks the first season under new head coach Alex Gettens, who brings a fresh perspective and a clear vision for the program’s growth. Fans can now secure their seats for every regular‑season home game at Alfond Arena, with ticket sales officially open to the public.
Season ticket holders enjoy a suite of benefits, including early access to purchase single‑game tickets for the Maine men’s ice hockey team before the general public. The lineup of seating options ranges from Renewal By Andersen Club seats to lower‑level general admission, ensuring a spot for every preference and budget.
Ticket options and pricing
Pricing for the upcoming season includes a $50 add‑on for current men’s hockey season ticket holders, $70 rates for faculty and staff, $238 for Renewal By Andersen Club seating, and $84 for lower‑level general admission. All non‑club seats are general admission, providing affordable access while still delivering the arena‑side experience.
Beyond ticket sales, the program invites supporters to contribute to its sustainability. Donations fund essential elements such as nutrition, equipment, and travel, and every gift to the Alfond Fund is matched 1:1 by the Harold Alfond Foundation, doubling the impact of each contribution.
Prospective ticket buyers can reach the UMaine Athletics Ticket Office via email at um.tickets@maine.edu, by phone at 207.581.BEAR, or by visiting GoBlackBears.com/Tickets for detailed purchasing information and to lock in their preferred seats.
