A Return to the Court
On Saturday, July 18, Baldwin’s annual alumni basketball game took over the gymnasium, drawing a crowd of former Panthers back to the court where they once chased victory as students.
The reunion was more than a game; it was a chance for alumni to reconnect with teammates, classmates and coaches, sharing stories that spanned decades while the gym echoed with familiar cheers and friendly competition.
Superintendent David Forrester highlighted the significance of seeing graduates return, noting that the event underscores the lasting bond between Baldwin Community Schools and the community it serves.
Since its inception, Troutarama has served as the town’s homecoming, and this year’s alumni game has become one of the weekend’s most anticipated gatherings, reinforcing traditions that keep the spirit of Panther Pride alive.
Funds raised during the night will directly support the Baldwin Basketball Program, providing resources for current athletes and ensuring future generations have the same opportunities to compete and grow.
