Penn State women's soccer announced its 2026 schedule on Monday, outlining a 17‑game season that includes nine home fixtures at Jeffrey Field. The campaign kicks off with two away games, beginning with a showdown at Notre Dame on August 16, followed by a match at West Virginia on August 20.
Opening Non‑Conference Tests
Home action begins shortly after, with the Nittany Lions hosting Bucknell on August 27 and Brown on August 30. The non‑conference slate wraps up on September 3 when Virginia Tech visits State College, after which the team will transition into Big Ten play.
The Big Ten regular‑season opener takes the squad on the road to face Ohio State on September 10, and the following weekend they return to face Minnesota before traveling to Maryland. A three‑game home stretch against Iowa, USC and Purdue will follow in September and October, providing a mix of familiar and new opponents.
A Look at the Road Ahead
October will see the team journey to Oregon and Washington before coming back to host Rutgers. The final two road contests are slated against Michigan State and Michigan, rounding out a challenging conference schedule.
The regular season concludes with Indiana visiting Happy Valley on October 30. Historically, Penn State has reached the NCAA Tournament for 32 straight years and has advanced to the second round or beyond in each of the past 17 seasons, a testament to the program’s consistency.
