A New Chapter in the Ivy League Standout's Journey
Emily Pape, a former Cornell basketball forward, is set to continue her athletic and academic pursuits at Newcastle University in England, where she will undertake a Master's in Sustainability Management while competing in Euro basketball.
During her four-year tenure at Cornell, Pape cemented her place among the program’s all-time greats, ranking high in scoring, three-pointers made, and rebounds grabbed, and she earned Academic All-Ivy honors each season.
She consistently delivered double-digit scoring performances, highlighted by a 27-point outburst and a 16-rebound game that underscored her all-around impact on the court.
Pape expressed enthusiasm for the next phase, citing the blend of competitive European basketball, advanced studies in sustainability, and the chance to explore new cultures as key draws of her move to Newcastle.
