While the UNI game is fully booked, the athletics department disclosed that roughly 1,700 tickets remain for the season opener against Northern Illinois on September 5, with 200 tickets still available for the October 3 showdown versus Ohio State.
Homecoming weekend on October 31 is expected to draw an additional 2,000 ticket requests for the Wisconsin matchup, while the November 14 game against Purdue retains about 4,700 seats, and the November 27 rivalry with Nebraska still has 2,200 tickets on the market.
The September 12 clash with Iowa State was already sold out before the schedule was even finalized, illustrating the early‑season demand that consistently fills Kinnick Stadium to capacity.
Athletic officials attribute the sellouts to a combination of strong alumni support, a passionate student body, and the growing popularity of the program under head coach Kirk Ferentz, whose tenure has seen the team consistently compete at the top of the Big Ten.
