Logano Takes Victory in Clean, Strategic NASCAR Cup Race
Joey Logano dominated the NASCAR Cup Series event at North Wilkesboro, leading 323 of the 450 laps and securing his first win of the season. The performance lifted him above the cut‑line and underscored the importance of track position on the short track.
Other notable performances included Shane van Gisbergen, who captured his best oval weekend ever with a fifth‑place finish and led 49 laps, and Todd Gilliland, who upset Chase Elliott with an eighth‑place result. Gilliland will now meet Ryan Blaney in a $1 million showdown.
