A deep talent pool in Cary
USA Baseball has unveiled the 2026 16U/17U National Team Development Program roster, a 88‑player lineup that will convene in Cary, North Carolina, from July 27 through July 30, offering a concentrated environment for the nation’s top teenage prospects.
The camp will be organized into four teams, each scheduled for on‑field workouts, skill‑development sessions and educational seminars designed to sharpen both baseball abilities and personal growth.
The initiative is supported by a grant from the Easton Sports Development Foundation, and USA Baseball NTDP Director Jeff Feltman expressed excitement about bringing together the nation’s best 16‑ and 17‑year‑old talent under one roof.
The coaching staff includes four field coordinators whose combined major‑league and USA Baseball experience exceeds five decades, ensuring a high‑level instructional environment for every participant.
Seventy‑two athletes earned their spots through performances at the 2026 National Team Championships and the NTIS Champions Cup, while 18 USA Baseball alumni — including 12 members of the 2025 15U gold‑medal squad — are featured on this year’s roster. The roster includes players such as Jeff Feltman, Jake Arrieta, Luke Gregeron, Brian Schneider, Jack Wilson, Colin Anderson, Greyson Bell, Gavin Chakar, Anthony Frausto III, Tristin Gaines, Noah Jarolimek, Landon King, Jason Marll Jr., Mateo Mier, Trent O’Malley, Xavier Rodriguez, Macgraw VanWormer, Chase Cotton, Jeremiah Hall, Derek Vazquez, Jake Welch, Levi Kerr, Eli Martinez, Jacob Carrasco and Brady Rallo.
California leads all states with 17 players represented, followed by Texas, Georgia and Florida, highlighting the geographic diversity of the talent pool.
