Four NJAC Teams Advance to 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship

Rowan, Kean, Montclair State and Ramapo secure bids, setting up regional showdowns across the country

The New Jersey Athletic Conference is set to make a splash at the 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship, with four of its member institutions earning berths in the national tournament.

Automatic and At‑Large Bids

Rowan University captured the conference’s automatic slot after winning the NJAC championship, entering the tournament with a national ranking of fifth.

Kean University, despite not securing the automatic title, earned an at‑large invitation and arrives as the 16th‑ranked team in the country.

Regional Hosts and Pairings

Rowan will travel to Gorham, Maine, where it will compete in a regional that also features host DeSales University.

Kean’s regional will be staged in Medford, Massachusetts, under the auspices of Tufts University.

Montclair State, riding a fifth‑national ranking in batting average, will host its own regional for the first time since 2000, adding home‑field advantage to its schedule.

Ramapo College rounds out the NJAC contingent, securing an at‑large berth and heading to a regional hosted by DeSales University.

Tournament Structure

The regionals are scheduled to run from May 15 through May 17 in a double‑elimination format, after which the winners will advance to the Super Regionals on May 22‑23.

The ultimate prize, the Division III World Series, is slated for May 29 through June 4 in Eastlake, Ohio, where the final eight teams will contend for the championship.
