In Double‑A Altoona, Murf Gray, now listed among the top 100 prospects by MLB Pipeline, shares seventh place in the minors with 24 homers, and in High‑A Greensboro, Edward Florentino has launched seven July homers, including four in his last seven contests.
Even the lower levels are contributing; Richard Ramirez is slashing .323 with an OPS near .971 and 25 RBIs in 31 games since June, while Eddie King Jr. boasts a .378/.509/.533 line with eight RBIs in July.
Pitching prospects are also making noise; Seth Hernandez has posted two scoreless starts with six strikeouts, and Adolfo Oviedo has yet to surrender a run this month, spanning eight innings.
