Fall Camp Kickoff
Florida State University has unveiled the timetable for its preseason workouts, marking the official start of the 2026 campaign on August 29 with a home matchup against New Mexico State.
The camp will feature two internal scrimmages, slated for August 4 and August 9, providing coaches with a chance to evaluate depth before the season opener.
In a unique twist, the squad will head to Jacksonville, where they will conduct a series of practices at the University of North Florida’s facilities, adding a change of scenery to the preparation routine.
Media Access and Upcoming Games
While most sessions are closed to the public and press, the university has carved out brief windows for media presence on July 31 and August 13, allowing limited coverage of key drills.
Coaches have emphasized that the restricted access is intended to maintain focus on player development, with only short viewing periods scheduled for the aforementioned dates.
The upcoming season will see the Seminoles open against New Mexico State, followed by a slate of conference games that will test the team’s progress throughout the fall.
