A Record‑Breaking Class
Allstate and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) have unveiled the nominees for the 2026 Good Works Team, a program that spotlights college football student‑athletes and head coaches who excel in community service, academic performance and leadership.
The 2026 edition includes a historic milestone: the first female nominee in the award’s 35‑year history, underscoring the growing diversity of leadership in the sport.
Among the recognized figures are Temple Owls head coach K.C. Keeler and sophomore wide receiver Rameir Hardy, both selected from a pool of 175 candidates spanning every level of college football.
Keeler, who directs community‑engagement initiatives in the North Philadelphia neighborhoods surrounding Temple’s football complex, has made street beautification, youth mentorship and local charity drives central to his outreach strategy.
Hardy, meanwhile, has organized food drives, school‑supply giveaways and a free youth football camp in the Frankford section of the city, drawing nearly 200 children within two weeks of its launch.
Conference Representation
The Big Ten Conference leads all conferences with 21 nominees, reflecting the conference’s strong emphasis on off‑field contributions.
The full roster of honorees will be celebrated at a ceremony later this year, where the selected student‑athletes and coaches will be honored for their combined impact on and off the field.
