The 450‑lap NASCAR race at North Wilkesboro was punctuated by a series of cautions that reshaped the running order, yet Logano’s Team Penske car never looked back, leading 323 laps and pulling away on the final stretch.
A Milestone Victory
Ty Gibbs had shared the front row with Christopher Bell, but it was Shane Van Gisbergen who seized Stage 1, only to be overtaken by Gibbs before the stage concluded. Multiple restarts saw Logano and Van Gisbergen trade the lead, while a caution on Lap 40 for John Hunter Nemechek brought the field together.
A subsequent caution on Lap 199 saw Josh Berry spin into the wall, and another incident involving Tyler Reddick and Alex Bowman further shuffled positions, but Logano’s pit strategy and tire management allowed him to surge ahead in Stage 2, where he also recorded his first stage win of 2026.
