A Season of Excellence
Calvary Baptist’s baseball program capped a remarkable campaign by sweeping the 2026 All-District 1-2A awards, a testament to a season that saw the team finish atop its district and advance deep into the playoffs.
Cooper Holmes and Brody Gray were recognized as co-Most Valuable Players after delivering elite offensive numbers. Holmes batted .467 with nine home runs, 33 RBIs and 35 runs scored, while Gray posted a .401 average with seven homers and the same 35 runs.
Levi DeMoss earned Offensive Player of the Year after a .391 average, a home run, 26 RBIs and 33 runs, and he has already secured a scholarship to Southern Arkansas University.
The pitching staff also shone, with Beaux Loftin posting a 2.01 ERA, Patrick Digilormo at 2.63 and Carson Riser at 2.68, underscoring a balanced rotation that helped the team navigate tight games.
Beyond individual accolades, the recognition reflects a culture of development that has produced talent such as Michael Stevens, Dakota Jorden and Clay Isggit, all of whom contributed to the team’s depth and success.
