Staff departures and new roles
David Cooper, who had served as director of recruiting relations, and Jay Chapman, the former director of football management, are no longer listed on the Georgia football support staff.
The program took the opportunity to reassign jersey numbers for several newcomers, signaling a fresh look for the roster.
Uniform numbers for incoming players
Offensive guard Dontrell Glover switched from No. 63 to No. 58, while cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick from Boca Raton, Fla., received No. 6. Running back Nick Peal from Roswell will wear No. 30, wide receiver Tre Shields from Flowery Branch is assigned No. 86, and long snapper Colton Dermer from Glendale, Ariz., received No. 50.
Broadcast team reshapes
Jeff Dantzler has been named the new play‑by‑play voice for Georgia football radio broadcasts, and Jon Stinchcomb joins as the new analyst. David Johnston will partner with Kevin Butler on the Dawg Talk pregame show and the postgame call‑in segment.
Brandon Streeter, the former Clemson offensive coordinator, has been promoted to quarterbacks coach, bringing his expertise to the Bulldogs’ quarterback development.
