Marshall County Baseball Mourns Coach Kevin Driver
The Marshall County Baseball community is grieving the loss of longtime coach Kevin Driver, who died on Monday at the age of 51. The announcement came from Marshall County Baseball, which highlighted his decades of service and the profound impact he had on players, colleagues and the broader baseball network.
Those who worked alongside Driver describe him as a mentor who poured his heart into the program, shaping countless young athletes and fostering a culture of commitment. His dedication to the sport was matched only by his devotion to the families and friends who surrounded him.
Driver is survived by his wife of 24 years, Chrissy Stubblefield Driver, and their four children — sons Kaden Driver, Jace Driver and Cameron Driver, and daughter Nevaeh Anderson — as well as his parents Ronald Driver and Kathi Driver, his sisters Kristin Raleigh and Roni Harrison, and a wide extended family that includes Carolyn Stubblefield, Alicia Tabers, Ricky Tabers, Michelle Stubblefield, Mark Jones, Missy Raines, Michael Stubblefield, Stefanie Stubblefield and Terry Stubblefield.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Benton Church of Christ, providing a space for friends and family to share memories and offer support. The service will take place in Benton, Kentucky, the hometown where Driver built his legacy.
The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, May 22, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Pace Cemetery. The ceremony will celebrate a life defined by coaching, community service and an unwavering love for the game.
