Leo Bosh, a senior standout at Central Kitsap High School, made a splash at the recent Battle at the Bay 7‑on‑7 football tournament on Bainbridge Island. Playing against some of the region’s top talent, Bosh helped his squad advance to the semifinals, the deepest run of any Kitsap County team in the event.
His performance was highlighted by a prolific receiving tally: he caught 13 touchdowns across five games, a statistic that underscored his ability to find the end zone in a compact, high‑intensity format.
Bosh’s preparation includes a series of college prospect camps, the most recent of which was held at Idaho State University before the tournament. He has also visited campuses such as North Dakota, Eastern Washington, Washington State, and several others, using each opportunity to showcase his versatility.
A versatile prospect
Coaches note that the skills honed in 7‑on‑7 play can translate to the traditional 11‑on‑11 game, and Central Kitsap’s offensive coordinator Zac Brown has emphasized the importance of that transition as Bosh looks to turn those statistics into full‑season production.
Beyond football, Bosh also competes in baseball for Central Kitsap, and he hopes to narrow down his college choices by January or February, aiming to secure a Division I scholarship before the next academic year.
With a strong senior campaign on the horizon, Bosh is positioned to attract attention from Division I programs, having already received offers from six Division III schools including Whitworth, Pacific Lutheran, Puget Sound, Willamette, Pacific, and Lewis & Clark.
